Video Production Sessions

YouTube provides a forum that allows people to connect, inform and inspire others across the globe (YouTube.com). YouTube is the world's most popular online video community. For more information go to www.YouTube.com

When making a video, it is beneficial to begin my creating a storyboard. A storyboard is a series of drawings of the propsed film, as it will appear on the screen. It is a plan of the end product and is often referred to during production.

Scripting
is also a technique used when creating a video. Scripting is the vehicle by which the thoughts and ideas are transmitted to the audience (Sunderland, 2010). A good script should include modds and expressions, facial expressions, vocal experssions, movement, interaction with other characters, sound track instructions, lighting etc. The more detail the author includes, the closer the end product will be to their intentions. The script should include enough technical information to enable the director to create the visual and audio picture that the author wants.
